PEAKCLIP / LEGALLAST UPDATED 30.08.2026

1. Who we are

PeakClip is an AI-assisted video clipping and social publishing service. In this policy, “PeakClip,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the PeakClip service.

2. Information we collect

Account information

We collect information used to create and secure your account, such as your email address, user identifier, and authentication records.

Content and project information

We process videos you upload, generated clips, transcripts, captions, titles, descriptions, publishing settings, schedules, and related project metadata.

Connected account information

When you connect a social platform, we receive information permitted by the scopes you approve. This may include your channel, Page, or professional account identifier and display name, access and refresh tokens, token expiry, channel or account metadata, analytics, and publishing results.

Technical information

We may collect browser, device, IP address, request, error, diagnostic, and security log information needed to operate and protect the service.

3. Google and YouTube data

PeakClip uses YouTube API Services. With your authorization, PeakClip may read your YouTube channel identity and analytics and upload videos that you explicitly choose to publish. We use this information only to provide the analytics and publishing features you request.

PeakClip does not request or store your Google or YouTube password. OAuth tokens are stored in encrypted form. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Your use of YouTube is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

4. Meta, Facebook, and Instagram data

When you connect Meta services, PeakClip may access the Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts you select, their identifiers and display information, and permissions needed to publish the content you schedule. We use this data only to show connected accounts, carry out requested publishing, and report its status.

PeakClip does not publish unless you select an account and authorize or schedule the post. Meta data is handled according to this policy and the permissions presented during authorization.

5. How we use information

  • Provide authentication, video processing, analytics, scheduling, and publishing.
  • Store and deliver uploaded and rendered media.
  • Maintain connected accounts and refresh authorized access.
  • Monitor reliability, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and secure the service.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell personal information or social-platform data, and we do not use Google or Meta user data for advertising.

6. How information is shared

We share information only as needed with the platform you instruct us to publish to and with service providers that operate PeakClip, such as hosting, storage, database, authentication, video processing, transcription, AI, monitoring, and security providers. These providers process data for us under appropriate restrictions. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

7. Storage, security, and retention

We use technical and organizational safeguards including encrypted transport, access controls, and encryption of stored social-account tokens. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

We retain account data, project data, connected-account data, and content while needed to provide the service or until you delete it or request deletion. We may keep limited logs, backups, transaction records, or information required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or law. Platform data is refreshed or deleted as required by the applicable platform rules.

8. Your choices, deauthorization, and data deletion

You can disconnect a social account in PeakClip at any time. This removes the stored authorization token and associated PeakClip connection data, including connected-account automations and delivery records. Disconnecting stops future access; it does not remove content already published on a third-party platform.

If you remove PeakClip through Meta or request deletion through Meta, Meta sends us a signed server-to-server request. We validate that request, remove matching connected-account data, and return a deletion confirmation code. You may also revoke access in your Google or Meta account settings. YouTube authorization-related deletion requests are completed within 30 days, except for limited data we must retain by law or for legitimate security and fraud-prevention purposes.

9. International processing and children

Our providers may process information in countries other than yours, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable law. PeakClip is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email.
