Good Boys Review: And you thought your childhood was wild...

The Hit:

You're in for a wild ride if you've seen Superbad, Neighbors, and Sausage Party and If you enjoyed those like I did, I'm sure you'll have a blast.

Cast: Jacob Tremblay, Keith L. Williams, Brady Noon, Molly Gordon, Midori Francis, Josh Caras, Will Forte

Pros: The trio were hilarious and all were a standout among the rest of the cast. Jacob Tremblay especially has been in serious and dramatic roles and has a real talent in acting, now he can add comedy to the roles he can pull off. The story was similar to Superbad but instead of taking booze to a party, they needed to make sure to not get in any trouble the whole day to make said party of their own. Their bickering with teenage girls and each other made for some good laughs.

Cons: Although this movie was about a long day of adventure and crazy antics, seeing kids of this age swearing every now and then didn't really bother me a whole lot but it did to a point. I didn't mind it at all with the three movies mentioned above but it hit differently for this. Not saying I'm soft, I've seen some higher grade R rated flicks without batting an eye, it was just a little too much this time around. Out of the four, this might be the weakest as well but still worth the watch if you're a fan.

If you want a good laugh regardless and see how kids act to certain things in the movie you'll still find enjoyment.

Key Info: Rated R. Genres; Adventure, Comedy.

The Verdict:

YELLOW LIGHT (Proceed with Caution)
