Ant-Man has been under house arrest after the events of Civil War and just days before he's home free, another mission calls for his help but he can only do it secretly or else he'll spend prison time. Being a father and a hero is really hard work.
Cast: Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Peña, Walton Goggins, T.I., David Dastmalchian, Hannah John-Kamen, Abby Ryder Fortson, Randall Park, Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Douglas
Pros: We get to see Ant Man again! Yeah, he isn't my all-time favorite Marvel hero but his story, his world is really stellar. We dive further into the Quantum Realm and in that particular teeny tiny world is someone they need to save who will possibly develop the story even further. Action scenes were kick ass and Evangeline Lilly didn't hold back as the Wasp, she is a great addition to the butt kicking females of the MCU. Scott Lang aka Ant Man beat people up too but Wasp stole the show in the majority of the scenes. I liked how Scott also showed his father side to his daughter and does everything to benefit her in the end. He doesn't think of himself but those loved ones around him. He knows he's under house arrest and makes it a point to try not to get caught. Also, loved that we get another dialogue story out of Michael Peña's character Luis, those were my favorite from the first film. No reviewer I saw on youtube mentioned it, so I grinned from ear to ear when it was shown!
Cons: Well guys and girls, we all know that no Marvel film will probably top Thanos as a villian for a long time, and in this case, this movie's villian was weak. Sure she had her reasons to add to the story but didn't really cause a worldwide or universal threat. Some minor CGI kind of bugged me (no pun intended) but that's it.
GREEN LIGHT (Go See it)
Make sure to stay for during and after the credits, it sets up for the continuation of the next Avengers film.
