Avengers: Infinity War Review: The shock and awe deliver

The Hit:

I am still in shock at what a movie Infinity War unfolded out to be. That ending was something I was not ready for and the events that led up to it showcased very good story writing.

Cast: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Jeremy Renner, Josh Brolin, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Linda Cardellini, Pom Klementieff, Zoe Saldana, Tom Hiddleston, Benedict Cumberbatch, Vin Diesel, Letitia Wright, Idris Elba, Danai Gurira, Paul Bettany, Dave Bautista, Paul Rudd, Benicio Del Toro, Kerry Condon, Bradley Cooper, Jon Favreau, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sean Gunn, winston Duke, Anthony Mackie, Benedict Wong, don Cheadle, Florence Kasumba, Jacob Batalon, Terry Notary, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, Angela Bassett, Carrie Coon and lots more.

Pros: I will try my utmost best not to spoil anything: Ten years of movies all lead up to the big bad Thanos in one action-packed ride of a movie. Different combinations of the heroes we love from the Avengers and Guardians all mix and mash which is fun and exciting to see. We never really get a good villain out of the Marvel Universe and DC always has them beat but this time around, Thanos (Josh Brolin) has left his mark. He is the savior for Marvel as the ultimate antagonist. Not only is he all powerful, it was great seeing his motives as he forces our heroes into a corner. He alone made Infinity Wars a must-see. I loved the action scenes in Civil War but this was on a whole other level and seeing everyone come together again with their powers and abilities was jaw-dropping. The ending seals the deal: it is something the Marvel movies have never done and am still amazed at the Russo Brothers for doing something so shocking and bold.

Cons: My only con is that there is so much going on with different storylines that Infinity War could have been longer. Because it's already a two-part part movie, maybe even splitting it into three would have been best. It doesn't hinder things overall but you've got to keep up with the pacing

Infinity War is definetly the movie of the year and people will talk about it until Part 2 next year. Not only is this a must see but a must own when it's available. Take your friends, significant other, parents, kids -- whoever. Just don't miss out on Avengers: Infinity War.
P.s. if you plan on seeing it more than once, make sure you see it in IMAX one of those times.

The Verdict:

GREEN LIGHT (Go See it)
