Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates review: Another comedy hit for Zac Efron

The Hit:

In Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, Mike (Adam Devine) and Dave (Zac Efron) are two bothers who always make the party go wild. It can be either at reunions or birthdays or any sort of party but they are the show. Because they get wild, they tend to turn a party upside down and make things a disaster.

Little sister Jeanie (Sugar Lyn Beard) is set on getting married to Eric (Sam Richardson) but then asks Mike and Dave to bring dates, hoping things will not go haywire. Because it's their little sister's wish, Mike and Dave agree to her terms and post an ad on Craig's List for dates. It goes viral and thousands of girls respond and because the wedding is in Hawaii, two girls who notice this on a TV show, plan to look nice and sophisticated and hopefully get picked. Alice (Anna Kendrick) and Tatiana (Aubrey Plaza) are two roommates who at the moment lost their jobs and are at a low in life. They get picked and the girls end up causing just as much havoc as the guys. It turns into a competition and that's when things get messy.

Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates is in the vein of ,Neighbors, This is the End and Pineapple Express. Zac Efron to me in the comedy genre is golden, and if he has talented actors and actresses around him, he shines even more. Anna, Aubrey, and Adam were great and the chemistry between all of them made this movie quite enjoyable to laugh countless times throughout.

The Verdict:
